Taurus

Taurus

Posted in ASTROLOGY FACTS on June 04, 2009
Taurus is represented by the Bull, which provides a few clues into their inner nature. As an Earth sign, Taurus can be concerned with its own comfort, as well as protecting its home and family from potentially negative forces. They are wonderful moneymakers, and tend to have ideas and plans that lend themselves to earning, saving, and investing money.

Taurians are usually known for their stubbornness, but this can also translate as sheer dedication to getting a task completed. Once they make their minds up, they will seldom deviate from a relationship, a job, or a cause. This makes them excellent workers, because they will stay late and get the job done right the first time, and great friends, because they will always be there, despite the trials and tribulations of life.

Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, which governs love, affection, beauty, and creativity. As such, Taurus natives are usually excellent cooks, party-throwers, and artists. They are loyal, sometimes to a fault, and don't like sudden or unwanted change to wreck the life they have carefully constructed for themselves.

The part of the body Taurus rules is the neck and throat. This means that Taurus natives should take care of these areas more than other signs, and learn to speak up when they need to, lest they block the energy of this area and create health problems.

Taurians are some of the most dependable members of the Zodiac. Though some can have very conservative views, or become overly enamored of money and wealth, they have the ability to bring a practical voice of reason into any chaotic or unhealthy situation. Challenges arise when Taurus has to face impermanence, or the fact that things are always in a state of flux. Learning how to go with the flow brings greater happiness.
