Aquarius
Posted in ASTROLOGY FACTS on June 04, 2009
Aquarius is an Air Sign, and like astrological friends Libra and Gemini, people born under this sign need to use their minds on a regular basis. If they don't have mental stimulation, they can become bored and stunted from achieving their highest potential.
The planet Uranus rules Aquarius, and is associated with sudden and sometimes violent change. This gives Aquarius natives some of their forward-looking qualities. These are the visionaries of the Zodiac, the ones who can see a little bit into the future, and know what we'll all be doing in five or ten years. Uranus also makes them comfortable with transformation, so they're known as the thinkers, progressives, and humanitarians of the world. Excellent with groups or communities, these folks need to be around other people.
Aquarius' symbol is the Water Bearer, which brings healing, nourishing water to humans, crops, and animals to ensure that life goes on. These natives need to feel part of this circle of life, and will go to any length to make sure it survives.
The parts of the body associated with Aquarius are the ankles, as well as the circulatory system. Both of these areas should be cared for and regularly checked through this lifetime to make sure they will enjoy their best health.
For Aquarians, challenges can arise when they feel limited or hemmed in. Because of their ongoing quest for freedom and fairness to all, they want to make sure they have the freedom to speak and move as they see fit. Aquarians have gotten a bad rap for being cold and unfeeling, but this is just their natural cautiousness about getting too close too soon. Learning to trust, as well as express their emotions in a healthy way, are two keys for Aquarians are they grow and develop over time.
